As the first people of Waterville Township, the Ottawa Indians occupied the property now known as Riverwood from 1807 until 1831.
At Riverwood Log Cabins, we recognize the responsibility we've been entrusted with and work diligently to be the best stewards of the land we can be!
Walk the trails through Kinjoano Village and imagine what life was like over 2 centuries ago!
Keep a keen eye out for arrowheads and other Indian artifacts! (Dozens have been found, and many are proudly displayed at the entrance of Kinjoano Village!)
